CAMPING TIPS FOR THE FESTIVAL CAMPER

 DON'T FORGET EXTRA SOCKS

YOU WALK MORE THAN NORMAL AT A FESTIVAL (THEY GET STINKY!)

 PLAN AHEAD

YOU NEVER HAVE ENOUGH WATER, BLANKETS, WARM CLOTHES OR TOILET PAPER. THE FESTIVAL HAS PLENTY OF SUPPLIES ON THE FIRST DAY. BY THE LAST DAY, ALL RESOURCES HAVE BEEN USED. BE PREPARED AND BE COMFORTABLE.

IT ALWAYS RAINS AT LEAST ONCE AT A FESTIVAL. TENTS ALWAYS LEAK! BUY A CHEAP 10X10 TARP TO HANG IN THE TREES ABOVE YOUR TENT. AN EXTRA TARP PREVENTS YOUR TENT FROM LEAKING AND KEEPS YOUR TENT FROM GETTING TOO HOT IN THE SUN. WELL WORTH 5 OR 6 DOLLARS!

We recommend

TENTS ALWAYS LEAK

Don't park your tent near an exhaust pipe!

People always sleep in cars and vans at festivals. At 6 am when its cold, people get in their cars and turn on the heat. If their exhaust pipe is facing your tent, you may have a hard time breathing. This is dangerous. Look out for yourself, and, if you turn your car on, be considerate of the campers around you. A passed out camper won't be aware of the carbon monoxide in their tent.

 DON'T FORGET TO WIPE

DON'T FORGET THE TEE PEE

AT 3 AM, WHEN THE BEER IS GOING THROUGH YOU, THERE IS NEVER ANY TOILET PAPER. THE VOLUNTEER THAT IS IN CHARGE OF TOILET PAPER IS EITHER PARTYING OR PASSED OUT AT THAT TIME. BE PREPARED, BRING YOUR OWN. YOU WILL NEED IT.

AND IF YOU DONT LIKE SITTING ON A DIRTY TOILET SEAT, BRING AT LEAST A 4 PACK. TOILET PAPER IS LIKE GOLD AT SOME FESTIVALS.

White Gold !

There is never enough!

 HANGOVERS

Hangovers are caused by dehydration

 "Bring Extra Water","Bring Extra Food"

At 3am when you sobor up, the vendors are normally closed. Bring your own water. If you drink a bunch of water before you go to sleep, you probably won't get a hangover. Alcohol, despite being a fluid, dehydrates you. If you drink some water and eat some food before you go to sleep, you will be the only one in your camp that feels good in the morning. Drinking water between beers, is also advised. Have fun, drink or take what you desire. But don't forget to hydrate. Your body will be much happier.
